Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate job satisfaction of the nurse aides who was engaged in the private dental clinic and its related factors. Results for this study were obtained from self-administrated questionnaire during a month. The questionnaire consisted of 27 items with 5-point likert scale. Statistical analysis was done with SAS 8.01. The obtained results were as follows:
1. The factors of the job satisfaction were patient relationship, staff relationship, future, dental organization, working environment, pay, autonomy and job needs quantity in order. Job needs quantity was the lowest score among eight subscales.
2. Of the respondents, 55.3% thought that they were satisfied with their job, but 40.3% of respondents answered that they would change their job if possible, and 62.5% already experienced transposition of their job one more.
3. Degree of job satisfaction was a statistically significant correlated with dental career, dental organization, patient relationship and future. Future was the most impact factor on the job satisfaction.
4. Degree of intent to change job was a statistically significant correlated with dental organization and future and job needs quantity. Future was the most impact factor on the job satisfaction.
5. Experience of employee turn over was a statistically significant correlated with marriage status, dental career and dental organization. Marriage status was the strongest factor among them.
